In Ternopil region, there is an architectural monument - the Baden Palace, which once amazed with its beauty and luxury. Today, the palace, although partially ruined, still preserves the atmosphere of bygone times, attracting historians, travelers, and romantics.
The palace was built at the beginning of the 20th century near the Dniester River and impressed with its luxury, symmetry, rich decor, and spacious halls. It sparkled with columns, balconies, and artistic stucco on the outside, while inside it consisted of magnificent halls, marble fireplaces, and exquisite parquet floors.
History of the Palace
In the past, the palace was surrounded by a large park of 200 hectares, where it was pleasant to spend Time. Now, only the charred walls remind of its former grandeur.
The village of Koropets, where the palace stands, belonged to the Polish crown until 1615, and then passed from noble families to Count Stanisław Baden, who renovated the estate in 1893.
