Fought as a drone operator in the Third Assault Brigade. Let’s remember Yevhen Filov.


Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we will commemorate Yevhen Filov.
Junior Sergeant Yevhen Filov, or Filya, died at the age of 23 on March 8, 2024, during a combat mission in the Avdiivka direction of Donetsk. The enemy artillery shelling resulted in his death. This was reported by

Life and Service
Yevhen was born in the village of Velyka Lepetykha in the Kherson region. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Kherson State University. In the summer of 2023, he joined the first mechanized battalion, where he worked as an operator of unmanned aerial vehicles. After being injured in his left shoulder in January 2023 and undergoing treatment and rehabilitation, he returned to the front.
Yevhen was awarded the 'Steel Cross' and the 'War Veteran' honors, and posthumously, he was awarded the order 'For Courage' of the 3rd degree.
Life Outside Service
The man was buried at the Western Cemetery in Odesa after his death at the front near Avdiivka. His memory lives on in the hearts of his beloved, relatives, and friends.
