Probation Period and Wages - What Are the Requirements in 2025.

The State Labor Service explained the rules regarding the probation period when hiring during martial law. It is noted that this requirement is not mandatory for everyone.
In particular, according to the Labor Code, the probation period is a Time when the employer assesses the employee's suitability for a specific job. The probation period cannot exceed three months, and in some cases, it can be extended to six months by agreement with the trade union.
It is also explained who does not need to have a probation period assigned, specifically this requirement does not apply to minors, young specialists, persons with disabilities, and other categories of employees. However, in 2025, special rules apply in case of martial law, which allow establishing a probation period for any category of employees.
It is important to pay attention to the hiring rules, which depend on the specific conditions of labor relations and legislation, especially under martial law.
