Deferral is possible, but there are conditions. During general mobilization, citizens who provide care for close relatives have the right to a deferral.
A citizen approached the lawyers, asking whether he can obtain a deferral for caring for his grandmother. Lawyer Vladislav Deriy explained in his response that such an option is possible, but several important requirements must be met.
List of Requirements for Deferral
First of all, the grandmother must have a documented disability of the I or II group.
In addition, it is necessary to have a certificate from MSEC or LKK stating the need for constant care for the grandmother.
And at the same Time, the grandmother should not have first-degree relatives (or she may have them, but if they themselves require constant care).
The rules for obtaining a deferral from mobilization due to caring for the grandmother are quite clear: no complications if all the conditions listed by the lawyer are met. Ukrainian legislation provides for the possibility of protecting citizens in such difficult situations.Read also
