Moldova's Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Vladimir Bolea, explained that the instability in the power grid following the attacks in the neighboring country was the cause of these issues. Moldova is connected to the power grid through Ukraine, so power outages in Ukraine caused problems with passenger status changes and baggage handling at Moldova's airport.

“After the bombings on the territory of Ukraine, power outages occurred, which led to disruptions at the airport,” explained Vladimir Bolea.

Additionally, on the night of June 10, Russian drones attacked Kyiv, resulting in the death of one woman and damage in the city. There were also coordinated large-scale attacks on Odesa, where 322 drones hit the city, leading to the deaths of two people and damage to medical facilities.
