A project for comprehensive support of vulnerable groups of the population has started in two regions of Ukraine. In particular, within its framework, citizens will be able to receive financial assistance in 2025.

What you need to know about the support project for vulnerable groups of Ukrainians
This is about the implementation of the project 'From Vulnerability to Strength: Comprehensive Protection Initiative'. It aims to provide support to vulnerable groups of the population in frontline communities of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
The project is implemented by the charitable organization '100% Life' in partnership with the public organization 'Ukrainian Smile' and the City Sustainable Development Agency with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (HFU/UHF).
It is the fourth project of the organization supported by UHF, administered by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
During previous initiatives, tens of thousands of children and internally displaced persons received assistance, including the establishment of a humanitarian hub in Rivne and a large-scale educational program with psychosocial support.

What the citizen support project in 2025 entails
The project focuses on residents of frontline communities and providing support to the most vulnerable categories of the population, including:
- people with disabilities;
- women in crisis;
- minor children.
It will provide:
- psychosocial support;
- assistance to children with hearing and vision impairments;
- financial assistance;
- response to gender-based violence;
- information sessions;
- humanitarian distribution.
The relevant project will last until the end of May 2026.
