The Ukrainian national volleyball team suffered a defeat against France in the second game week of the Nations League. France, the current Olympic champion, was the stronger team, defeating Ukraine with a score of 3:0. In the first set, Ukraine was trailing but managed to equalize, only for France to take the lead in the final moments. In the following sets, Ukraine also retreated, allowing the French volleyball players to win. The next matches will see the team play against Turkey, Japan, and Bulgaria, with a chance to improve their standings. Currently, Ukraine is in eighth place in the standings, but there is a chance to rise to the top after the next matches.
