Germany begins large-scale checks on 'refugees from Ukraine': what is the reason.

Germany begins checks on fake refugees from Ukraine
The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) of Germany has begun checking the possible receipt of social assistance by illegal persons with Ukrainian passports. According to the office, more than 5600 cases of suspicious social benefits receipts in Germany are under review. Among them are people with newly issued Ukrainian passports who speak only Hungarian and may have dual citizenship. Authorities now have to decide how to act in these cases.
'EU citizens, including Hungarian nationals, are not entitled to social benefits such as social assistance in Germany. Ukrainians with the Russian-Ukrainian conflict receive temporary protection and benefits,' the report says.
Federal states of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria lead in suspicious cases count
In particular, it was noticed in Baden-Württemberg that many of the people in question received passports in the Ukrainian city of Beregovo, located near the Hungarian border. According to media reports, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg have the highest number of suspicious cases - 2846 and 1980 respectively. Now state authorities must make appropriate decisions on these cases.
Change of the name of the capital of Ukraine in Germany
