Tankers with Oil: French Admiral Reveals the Size of Russia's Shadow Fleet.

Admiral Benoit de Giber, the maritime prefect of the English Channel and the North Sea, has discovered Russia's shadow fleet, which consists of over 900 vessels. These vessels are used to transport oil in order to circumvent international sanctions.
The admiral noted that the attack on a tanker in the Arabian Sea last year is a sign of the danger that the shadow fleet poses to international shipping. Such activities violate laws and safety standards, which can lead to serious consequences for marine ecology and the safety of navigation along all international shipping routes.
For Ukraine, which is monitoring maritime security, it is important to be vigilant about such violations and to support international control over oil transportation to prevent similar situations in the future.
The threat of Russia's shadow fleet presents new challenges for international shipping safety and marine ecology. It is important to take measures to control this situation and to prevent possible incidents in the future.
