Ukrainians probably often forget that their dogs and cats do not like to be cooped up in a locked car under the blazing sun. However, such negligence can be costly.
For leaving a pet in a car under the sun, the owner may face a fine ranging from 3,400 to 5,950 UAH or a temporary detention. If the pet cannot endure such conditions and dies, the owner may even face 2-3 years of imprisonment and the animal may be confiscated.
Important to remember
Do not leave your furry friends in locked cars under the sun. By the end of October, drinking bowls for animals will be set up in parks and squares in Kyiv, so that they have the opportunity to drink water on hot days. Let's remember the safety and comfort of those who cannot protect themselves!
