On the night of June 16, the Russian city of Oryol became the target of a drone attack, reports the publication 'Glavkom'. Local residents recorded at least 10 explosions in the vicinity of the oil refinery, and bright flashes were also noticed in the sky.
According to preliminary data, air defense systems were activated. Some monitoring channels are focused on possible damage to infrastructure objects.
By the way, on the night of June 14, drones attacked the 'Nevinnomyssk Azot' enterprise in the Stavropol region. This is the largest producer of nitrogen fertilizers and ammonia in Russia.
The overall productivity of the plant amounts to over 1 million tons of ammonia and 1.4 million tons of ammonium nitrate annually, while urea production reaches 0.89 million tons per year.
On the morning of June 14, the target of the drone attack was the 'Novokuibyshevsk Catalyst Plant' in the Samara region. The governor of the region confirmed the attack but reported no casualties or material damage.
In a video that surfaced online, a fire and smoke can be seen on the territory of the enterprise.
