Russia struck Ukraine with 352 drones
The night attack by the occupiers on Ukraine on June 23 resulted in 368 aerial assaults. This was reported by
Glavcomciting the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian Federation used 352 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones in various directions, primarily targeting Kyiv. Pilots, air defense, anti-tank troops, and Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Defense systems protected the capital.
- 146 Shahed drones were destroyed;
- 7 ballistic Iskander-M/KN-23 missiles were intercepted;
- 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles were destroyed.
As of 9:00 a.m., 354 enemy aerial attack vehicles were destroyed, with recorded hits in six locations in Kyiv and the region.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported that due to the Russian attack in the Shevchenko area, a residential building caught fire. Also, the KPI building named after Igor Sikorsky caught fire in Kyiv, and the entrances to the 'Sviatoshyn' metro and the surrounding area were damaged.
The events described reflect the brutal situation in Eastern Ukraine, where an armed conflict with Russia continues, which continues to violate the territorial integrity of the country.
