  • sugar — 200 g;
  • apple cider vinegar — 220 g;
  • ground red pepper — ⅓ tsp;
  • turmeric — 1 tbsp;
  • mustard seeds — 2 tbsp.

Cooking Method

Thoroughly wash the cucumbers, cut off the ends from both sides, and slice them into circles about 3-4 mm thick. Transfer to a large bowl, sprinkle with salt, and mix well. Cover with a towel and let sit for 2 hours, mixing every 20 minutes.

In a large pot, combine sugar, apple cider vinegar, pepper, turmeric, and mustard.

Mix well and put over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
