Financial Assistance from UNHCR - How and Where to Get 3.6 Thousand UAH.


The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) will open registration for financial aid in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Payments are intended for those citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression.
This was announced by UNHCR representatives on Telegram.
Conditions for UNHCR Assistance Program
It is noted that assistance from the UN Refugee Agency will be available in Kryvyi Rih. It will be provided only for two categories of citizens who have not received financial assistance from the organization in the past three months. Payments will be made to:
- internally displaced persons who have moved no more than six months ago;
- refugees who arrived from abroad after leaving.
Among the requirements for receiving aid is a difficult financial situation: income no more than 5.4 thousand UAH per person in the family.
There should also be the following vulnerability criteria:
- a single mother or father raising children under 18 or caring for elderly people;
- a family consisting only of elderly citizens over 55 years;
- a household with elderly people raising minor children;
- a family with individuals with disabilities or serious illnesses.
The payment amount is 10.8 thousand UAH per person, covering a three-month period of 3.6 thousand UAH.
How to Get Financial Assistance in Kryvyi Rih
Registration for financial assistance in Kryvyi Rih will be available only on one day.
'On July 21, 2025 (only on this date - 1 day) in Kryvyi Rih, Volodymyra Byzova Street 5, registration for cash assistance from UNHCR will be opened', it is stated in the message.
Consultation and registration will take place in order of live queue.
During the consultation and registration, it is mandatory to:
- list all those wishing to receive payments;
- have identification codes and passports of all people to be registered;
- indicate family connections;
- have IDP status for the last six months.
Working hours on July 21: 09:30-15:00.
Earlier we reported that a financial support program from the Danish government is operational in Mykolaiv. Under this program, citizens can receive business development assistance amounting to 124 thousand UAH.
We also mentioned that in the Lviv region, the Ukrainian Red Cross is implementing a grant program aimed at supporting entrepreneurship in the area. Participants can receive up to 100 thousand UAH.
