The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to simplify the process of obtaining housing subsidies for the most vulnerable segments of the population. Now, under the new rules, housing subsidies for family-type children's homes, foster families, and large families with three or more children will be assigned faster.
One of the key changes is the increase in the debt threshold for obtaining a housing subsidy to 4000 hryvnias. This figure is higher than before. Also, individuals living at an address but not listed in the declaration will not be included in the household of a family-type children's home or foster family.
Improvement of social benefits distribution
The changes introduced by the government will help better distribute social benefits among those who truly need support. This will contribute to reducing financial pressure on the most vulnerable population groups.
Easing the conditions for obtaining housing subsidies and more effective distribution of social benefits will help improve the lives of the most vulnerable categories of the population in Ukraine while maintaining social justice.Read also
