Benefits for Fiber-Optic Controlled Drone Manufacturers: What Has Changed.

The Ukrainian State Customs Service has announced important new legislative changes that simplify the process of importing fiber-optic components for drones intended for defense needs. According to the updates, fiber-optic materials can now be imported without customs duties and VAT for the production or repair of unmanned systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
'New laws in Ukraine that have come into effect expand the list of goods exempt from customs duties and value-added tax. This includes optical fibers, fiber-optic bundles, and other components for fiber-optic cables,' the statement said.
These innovations will promote the development of domestic fiber-optic controlled drone manufacturing, which has advantages in combat conditions as they are optimally protected against electronic warfare means. Such changes will help improve product quality, expand production, and provide additional protection against electronic interference.
Encouraging Drone Production with Fiber-Optic Control
These refreshing changes in legislation are a step toward improving the Ukrainian defense industry, encouraging manufacturers to develop and enhance technologies in the field of military production.
