The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation, Gerasimov, has been sent for a military medical commission - 'Atesh'.

Valerii Gerasimov is undergoing a military medical commission
The insurgent organization 'Atesh' reported that the chief of staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valerii Gerasimov, is possibly undergoing a military medical commission in Moscow. This information was received by 'Atesh' from its sources in the Dnipro Armed Forces group, as reported by 'Glavkom'.
Gerasimov is a key figure in the Russian military machine, the main strategist of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the permanent chief of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff, and a personal friend of Vladimir Putin, the insurgents point out.
'Atesh' indicates that undergoing a military medical commission is formally a standard procedure. However, when such an important person as Gerasimov does it, it can be a serious signal. 'Perhaps significant changes are being prepared at the top of the command. Or the system is looking for a way to 'softly write off' those who failed the offensive,' it is suggested in 'Atesh'.
Among the officers of the Dnipro faction, two possible candidates for the position of head of the Russian general staff are actively discussed: the commander of the Airborne Forces, General Teplinsky, and the commander of the Central Military District, General Mordvichev.
This news is very important, as Gerasimov is an influential military figure in Russia, and his possible undergoing of a medical examination could have significant implications for the future situation in the country's army.
