Will Belarus and North Korea be punished for their involvement in the war against Ukraine - details.

Will Belarus and North Korea be held accountable for crimes against Ukraine
The President of the Ukrainian Association of International Law, Olga Butkevich, stated that Belarus and North Korea could be held accountable for crimes against Ukraine.
According to her, the Special Tribunal regarding Russia's crime of aggression against Ukraine will consider not only the higher political leadership of the Russian Federation, but also the leaders of the countries that assisted Russia in its full-scale war against Ukraine.
'This tribunal will consider not only the higher political and military leadership. Perhaps, the Russian National Security Council, which consented to aggressive actions in Ukraine. Maybe we will mention senators who voted for the deployment of troops to Ukraine. Perhaps the Constitutional Court, which supported the annexation of regions of Ukraine to the territory of Russia.'
In addition, this higher military-political leadership of Belarus will likely be included as well as that of North Korea. However, this will be determined after collecting evidence in the relevant investigative procedure', - explained Butkevich.
Earlier, Olga Butkevich expressed her opinion on the possibility of prosecuting the Russian dictator Putin without his presence.
Recently, the Verkhovna Rada ratified an agreement between Ukraine and the Council of Europe on the establishment of a special tribunal regarding Russia's crime of aggression against Ukraine.
The representative of the Ukrainian Association of International Law, Olga Butkevich, stated the possibility of bringing Belarus and North Korea to accountability for crimes against Ukraine within the framework of the proceedings concerning Russia's aggression. It was also emphasized that the newly established tribunal will consider the role of leaders not only of the higher political leadership of Russia but also of the countries that participated in the war against Ukraine.Read also
