More than three decades without a passport: a man in Khotyn finally received his Ukrainian passport.

A 60-year-old man in Khotyn, Chernivtsi region, received his first citizen passport of Ukraine after 30 years without a document. This was reported by the press service of the State Migration Service.
The serviceman applied to the migration service asking for help for his father to obtain a Ukrainian passport. It turned out that the man was born and lived in the village of Klischivtsi his entire life. At the age of 24, he had a passport of a citizen of the Soviet Union, but after losing it, he did not apply for restoration.

After passing all necessary checks, the man was issued his first citizen passport of Ukraine in the form of a modern ID card. Obtaining the document opens access to all social guarantees provided by Ukrainian legislation.
It is worth mentioning that oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who is under investigation, lost a court case regarding the return of his Ukrainian citizenship.
